Project Manager & Senior Researcher

An experienced project manager and researcher with over a decade of expertise in monitoring & evaluation, data analysis, and peacebuilding initiatives across Sudan, Kenya, and the wider Horn of Africa. Holds a Master's in Project Management (Daystar University) and ongoing postgraduate studies in Planning and Research Development (University of Khartoum).

Has led and contributed to numerous baseline studies, evaluations, and field research projects with international organizations such as UN-Habitat, USAID, CARE International, Mercy Corps, UNDP, ILO, and World Relief — focusing on resilience, conflict analysis, WASH, and community peacebuilding. Roles include Project Manager & External Consultant, Fieldwork Manager at Consilient Research (Kenya, MENA Division), and Coordinator and Trainer in peacebuilding programs including AVP and Healing & Rebuilding Communities.

A dedicated education and development professional with strong expertise in Monitoring & Evaluation, project coordination, and teaching. Holds a Bachelor of Education in English and a Master of Arts, complemented by specialized training in M&E, business start-up, public relations, and data analysis.

Has worked with Norwegian Church Aid, International Medical Corps, UNAMID, and SHARP Consultancy, contributing to evaluations and projects funded by USAID, UKAID, ECHO, and OFDA. Experienced in coordinating field teams, facilitating training, and managing data collection for humanitarian and development programs across challenging environments.

Has provided high-level technical expertise to Mercy Corps, Nature Finance, Marubeni Corporation, UNCDF, CAP-A, FSD Africa, FCDO, MasterCard Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation — delivering carbon strategy, feasibility assessments, biodiversity market insights, and investment opportunity screening.

Hannah Marcus

Public Health Researcher

A public health researcher specializing in the intersections of climate change, migration, and health, with particular interests in adaptation, resilience, and health equity in low- and middle-income countries. Holds an MSc in Public Health and is pursuing doctoral research.

Serves as Co-Chair of the Environmental Health Working Group at the World Federation of Public Health Associations, leading research, evidence-based advocacy, and policy development on climate change and health. Has designed and conducted research and M&E projects across Africa, focusing on climate adaptation, WASH, disaster risk reduction, and livelihood resilience.
